About me
Audrey Damier is a French-born photographer, producer and director whose artistic journey began in the vibrant outskirts of Paris before establishing her practice in South East London. Her background in journalism fundamentally shaped her approach to visual storytelling, instilling a deep commitment to authentic documentation and representation.
Through her lens, Audrey immortalises moments that celebrate diverse communities and human connection. Her signature works, including It Takes A Village and Representation is Everything, demonstrate her commitment to elevating Black voices and talents. Each photograph is born from her own creative direction, thoughtfully composed to preserve authentic narratives. Her work has graced publications like Gal-Dem and Urban Outfitter's SHEETS magazine, while her client portfolio includes the Southbank Centre, Paramount, and Notion Magazine.
As a multifaceted creative who thrives across roles, Audrey extends her storytelling vision beyond photography. Her production credits include music videos for The Black Esper's Soul Retro X and Ruven's The Loop, alongside producing landmark events with The Rise Collective, including Emerging Future Live and their showcase at We Out Here Festival. Her upcoming short film "Can A Brother Get Some Peace," co-directed with Yvonne Shelling, explores adversity in blackness and stands as a testament to her dedication to truthful storytelling. Set to release in February 2025, this project further exemplifies her commitment to meaningful representation and authentic documentation of lived experiences.
